Following the production phase, the group participates in The Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation Youth Engineering Contest in Duncan, OK, where they race their cars. Finally, they also compete in CO2 car races at WHS. During the CO2 car races at WHS, Mr. Nease sponsors an ugly sweater contest!

Walters Public Schools will utilize virtual learning for all students on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The need for the virtual day is due to water being shut off throughout the city. Students need to follow their virtual day procedures they used during our previous virtual days. In addition, the career tech bus will not run today. Students may attend career tech but will need to provide their own transportation if they attend. We will contact the career tech so they are aware that we are going virtual today and will not be running our bus.
The High School basketball games at Ringling tonight are still scheduled to be played at this time. Any change to that schedule will be posted on our school website and social media sites.
We apologize for any inconvenience and we look forward to having our students back on campus as soon as possible. Please continue to check the school website and Facebook pages for updates and notices.
