Friday, October 31, the Class of 2027, will be having a silent auction for a 2025 WHS Football, signed by players and coaches. The bid will start at $25 with bid increments of $5. The winner will be announced at halftime of the game on Friday.

Over the past three years, the Comanche Nation, in partnership with the Tribal Education Departments National Assembly – Assessing Choices in Education (TEDNA-ACE) grant, has collaborated with Walters High School to provide a wealth of resources for Native students. Through this partnership, TEDNA-ACE has offered numerous educational opportunities, workshops, and college visits for high school students, as well as individual Chromebooks and laptops for graduating seniors each year. To conclude the grant, the Comanche Nation and TEDNA-ACE have also provided Walters High School with the opportunity to establish a new computer lab equipped with Chromebooks and laptops. Thank you to Comanche Nation for the opportunities provided to our students and continued support!

The Co-Opreneur Contest is an entrepreneur challenge competition, sponsored by Oklahoma electric cooperatives, Oklahoma Council on Economic Education, and UCO. Teams are given a community problem to solve and they design a cooperative business which they present to judges.
