Monday, October 6, Walters Middle School and High School vocal music students were very well represented at the 2025 South West Oklahoma JH and HS All-Region Honor Choirs. They performed to a packed house at the First Baptist Church in Lawton. Participants were selected after auditions held in September. Middle School choir members were : 7th grade -Tre Wever and Grey Jackson. 8th grade - Jolee Anderson, Rowdy Burns and Finnegan Scherler. 9th grade - Trysta Blackstar, Nate Brown and Kaison Simpson. High School choir members were: Sheridan Tillery, Ava Bryant and Jayden Reyes.

Special congratulations to Ava Bryant (HS) and Nate Brown (JH), who were the recipients of 3 year medals. Mrs. Charla Dedmon served as the piano accompanist for the Jr. High Honor Choir.

The support of parents, grandparents, other family members and school personnel was greatly appreciated in preparation and attendance at the performances. These students continued the Walters Blue Devil winning tradition.

Regardless of Federal status, please complete the STUDENT INFORMATION and PARENT/GUARDIAN EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION, if you are unsure of the Federal information, leave it blank. Then sign and date at the bottom. Once finished, click the green check mark at the top of the page. REMEMBER to click Submit To Site after you have completed the form. Forms are due by October 9.
