Help keep our students and staff safe!

WHS Football Fans - In an effort to provide the safest, most secure environment possible for athletes and spectators Wynnewood has adopted a no backpack policy for students who attend any game at Wynnewood Schools facilities. This policy does not apply to any student associated with the football team, band, or cheer squad, but any other students will not be allowed to bring a backpack in.
Walters students participate in many extracurricular activities, both in and out of school — and one of them, Kaison Simpson, a WHS Freshman, has had an incredible season!
Kaison raced in the Youth Quad Division with the Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association and Great Plains Cross Country this year. He finished both seasons as the Youth Quad Champion!
Congratulations Kaison! We are proud of your hard work in and out of the classroom!

Over the past three years, the Comanche Nation, in partnership with the Tribal Education Departments National Assembly – Assessing Choices in Education (TEDNA-ACE) grant, has collaborated with Walters High School to provide a wealth of resources for Native students. Through this partnership, TEDNA-ACE has offered numerous educational opportunities, workshops, and college visits for high school students, as well as individual Chromebooks and laptops for graduating seniors each year. To conclude the grant, the Comanche Nation and TEDNA-ACE have also provided Walters High School with the opportunity to establish a new computer lab equipped with Chromebooks and laptops. Thank you to Comanche Nation for the opportunities provided to our students and continued support!
