OSSAA Athletic Dead Week: June 28 - July 6, 2025.
Official dead week statement from the OSSAA:
Secondary-level students enrolled or pre-enrolled at a member school may not use any member school’s athletic facilities during the dead period in connection with any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA. Member school coaches, assistant coaches and sponsors may not have any contact with secondary-level enrolled or pre-enrolled students in that member school in any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA for the purpose of coaching, training, or instructing.
Students who will be in the 6th through 12th grades at Walters Public Schools( WPS) during the 2025-2026 school year are not allowed to use any WPS athletic facilities during the dead period. Coaches are also not allowed to interact with student athletes during this time frame.
This is an OSSAA regulation and not a school rule. Thank you for complying.

WPS Indian Education Program - "Read & Swim" at the Walters Library and Walters Pool. The books and tickets are available at the Library. All Native students may participate. For Elementary students, a guardian must take you as required by Walters Swimming pool.
Go to the LIBRARY, READ a book, get your TICKET, take your ticket to the Walters Pool and SWIM for free!
