Kaison Simpson 🏆 2026 XC AMATEUR NATIONAL CHAMPION! 🏆
Kaison qualified on his quad for the 2026 XC Amateur National Championship in Attica, Indiana, this August, where he lined up against some of the best racers from across the nation.
As a sophomore at Walters High School, he has put in countless hours of hard work and dedication. This summer, Kaison attended two training and conditioning camps, putting in the work to prepare himself and his quad for the challenge ahead.
He battled through an intense 2-hour race, pushing himself to the limit and ultimately coming out on top!

All those who ordered yearbooks, and paid in full, with be able to pick up their copies in the high school office. Please let Ms. Sonia know your name so she can mark that you have picked up your copy! You can pickup Monday-Friday, 8:00-3:00, before school starts.
For those who have NOT purchased a yearbook, we have extras that will be available for purchase for $45 once school starts. Please contact Mrs. Suson, djsuson@waltersps.org, to buy one after the first of the year.
Finally, we will have a signing party for last year Seniors this Thursday, August 6th, from 4 pm to 5 pm in Mrs. Suson's room. If you are a senior that cannot make it, but still want your book signed, please let Mrs. Suson know. If you don't communicate that, then your book will not be signed.
